Good to Know Before Your Bonfire

Beach bonfire permits are limited, so we always recommend booking as early as possible, especially during spring break, summer and holiday weeks. Have a couple of preferred beach access locations in mind when you reserve, just in case your first choice isn't available. Bonfires wrap up by 11 PM, and Walton County prohibits glass containers, fireworks and floating lanterns to help keep the beaches safe and beautiful.
